Groove Syndika Records
Benchmark Protocol

Purpose
To scientifically verify originality and detect any accidental overlap between AI-assisted tracks and pre-existing commercial works, using advanced audio-fingerprinting recognition methods.

Step 1 – Test Environment
-
Playback Sources: Controlled digital streaming for reference benchmarks; isolated rendering engines for Groove Syndika originals.
-
Output Path: High-fidelity smart audio systems replicating consumer-grade playback.
-
Capture Device: Multi-sensor mobile platform with integrated microphones and adaptive noise filtering.
-
Recognition Framework: Industry-standard audio-fingerprinting algorithms capable of micro-pattern detection.

Step 2 – Testing Methodology
-
Each track undergoes analysis at three critical points:
-
Intro – transient recognition risk (first seconds).
-
Mid – harmonic and rhythmic core (~60–90 sec).
-
Outro – decay, fade, and residual motifs.
-
-
Results captured as immutable timestamped records.
-
Repeated runs ensure statistical consistency and eliminate one-off anomalies.

Step 3 – Verification Criteria
-
Pass Condition: Audio-fingerprinting system returns null match or indicates “pattern not in database.”
-
Fail/Flag Condition: System attempts to align track with a commercial reference.

Step 4 – Escalation Protocol
-
Flagged results are archived with supporting evidence.
-
Retesting occurs across multiple sessions to eliminate environmental bias.
-
Outcomes:
-
Repeated null → cleared.
-
Repeated match → track formally retired/altered, logged as withdrawn for similarity.
-

Step 5 – Recordkeeping & Transparency
-
Every result (pass, fail, retire) is stored in the Groove Syndika Benchmark Archive.
-
The archive is accessible to demonstrate accountability and transparency.

Step 6 – Continuous Learning
-
Withdrawn tracks undergo post-mortem analysis (tempo mapping, chord progression clustering, melodic fingerprint cross-reference).
-
Insights are fed back into prompting and arrangement processes, ensuring progressive refinement and strengthening originality assurance.
